All editions use the Nestle 1904 version, now in the public domain. This edition was chosen because of the ease and freedom of reproduction a public domain text affords. See here for more details.
All pocketGNTs.com editions except Economy are printed on a thin 52gsm Japanese paper called Tomoe River (Sanzen), which is renowned particularly by fountain pen aficionados as being exceptionally light and smooth. The Economy edition is printed on a much cheaper and thicker 68gsm Japanese office paper.
As of 3/28/2023 the Standard Edition is printed in Gentium Plus 7pt. I think it’s more readable than Liberation Serif, particularly in the accents.
All the other editions are still printed in Liberation Serif. The Economy edition and Deluxe edition are printed in 6pt, while Large Print is in 8pt. You can download sample text PDFs to print out at home and compare the size for yourself: 6pt 7pt 8pt
